He was the brother that protected the others, often getting into fights. He has always been up for a challenge and engaging in wild activities. As he's gotten older he's toned down a bit, but he still likes to go on random adventures in between days working. He is up for anything and experiencing new things. Independent- Being one of the older siblings has lead him to being independent. He obviously isn't one to blend into the crowd, he likes to stand out in order to make himself happy. This caused some tension in his family, his parents took a while to adjust to his increased amount of tattoos and piercings, but as time has gone on and their other children have somewhat followed in Leo's footsteps without becoming total heathens, they have become more accepting. Leo likes to stand out, he doesn't want to be just another person who can be forgotten. Loyal- Whether it's family or friends once someone is in his circle Leo is extremely loyal to them and do what he can to keep them protected and happy. He has a kind heart deep in his chest and will move mountains for those that he loves. His loyalty has lead him to moving from the town he grew up in to California where his brothers have moved to and seem to be happy in, wanting to give it a chance and try to find his own happiness. Low Maintenance- He is pretty low key. Not a lot of things make him angry since he's grown from his teenage days. He has an easy going life where he works as a supervisor in a construction company, finding more use in his muscles than his brain. His low energy has made him a little forgetful and tends to make him grow accustom to life being a certain way, meaning he may not see things as big deals when they are, which can make him seem careless without his meaning to. But you know you're gonna be okay And even though you're scared You're stronger than you know  If you're lost out where the lights are blinding Caught in all, the stars are hiding That's when something wild calls you home Leo is the oldest boy of the Lasse siblings, but is the third to be born, coming after his two older sister Moira and Stephanie. Their parents had always wanted a large family so he watched as more siblings were added to the brood. He was always so happy to be a big brother, welcoming each sibling with open arms and was always there to help out Mom, but as he got older he went from helping Mom to helping his Dad on the farm, building muscle and filling out more as a man after every day's hard work. After school he would come home and help on the farm and during summer breaks that's how he spent is time, until he entered his teenage years when he got a yearning to rebel and party with his friends. He got a little wild, sneaking out at night to go to parties and started getting stick and poke tattoos, which dismayed his family. They were fairly traditional so he tried to keep them hidden, but it didn't last long. When his parents saw the crude stick and pokes they exploded on Leo, telling him he was supposed to be a role model to his younger siblings and that he wasn't setting a good example and he lost his cool, he wasn't proud of it but he had packed his things and taken off after that fight. He couched surfed with his friends and dropped out of school, choosing to work in construction instead of going to college and following what his parents had set out for him, for a long time he didn't talk to them. He kept in touch with his siblings though, they accepted him for who he was instead of trying to change him. The one thing that brought him back into the family was the birth of his brothers son, Rosco. If you face the fear that keeps you frozen Chase the sky into the ocean Sometimes the past can  Make the ground beneath you feel like a quicksand You don't have to worry You reach for my hand By the time he had returned his family home he was in his twenties and covered in professional tattoos that covered the stick and pokes that he had gotten when he was so young. He had been hesitant to see his parents, ready for them to lose their minds when they would see him covered from head to toe in tattoos along with piercings and when he walked into the family home they had stared at him. His Mom rushed forward first to hug him, telling him that after everything that had happened she didn't care about what he looked like as long as he was happy and healthy and that she had missed him this entire time while his Dad took a moment to come around. Instead of bursting into tears, Arnold set a firm hand on his sons shoulder, telling him the farm had been empty without him. That was enough for Leo. He stepped back into his family and while living with his parents he helped them with fixing up the family farm while being a pillar of support for Markus and his siblings while they all came to an agreement of what would happen to the newest family member and they've been keeping it a secret ever since. Leo has been working steadily in construction with a reputable company though he didn't leave his family home exactly. He lived in a 5th wheel back on the property for a long time, still running off on last minute road trips and acting like he was still a kid. With all his old friends still in town it was hard for him to really grow up, but as time went on he started to get bored. He hadn't found someone he wanted to spend his life with, something his mother prayed for, and he hadn't really found any passion so when his work offered him a job opportunity in California where his other siblings seemed to be migrated he packed up his things, said good bye to his parents, and took off to California where he lives in a simple apartment and is learning the new town, hoping that maybe this is the place he is meant to be. His brothers seem to be doing fine here so far, so maybe he would have the same kind of luck as them. Yeah I know you're gonna be okay You're gonna be okay Family:

Welcome to Tidewater!
This is a sandbox style role play that is based in a Southern Californian named Ocean City.
This town is home to a prestigious high school and university that students from all over flock to. The school is home to the best teachers in the state and hosts an eclectic variety of students from all over the world. Students have the option to live on campus and in between classes on the weekend are able to roam the town. There is always some kind of event going on. In this role play you can role play high school students, teachers, college students, and the town residents! We encourage character development and being able to follow your character through different stages of life encourages that.
This town is on the water and offers many events for every season along with the schools offering their own events as well. There are many chances to foster positive relationships between characters but this is a slice of life so drama and enemies are bound to be made!
Also, don't think your secrets are safe because there are those who patrol the tides of gossip and report all the going ons in the town gossip blog. Here everyone’s dirty laundry is presented, it’s up to the characters to believe it and do whatever they want with it.
Our members are funny and brimming with sarcasm, we look forward to our new members so we can add to the student and staff populations while further growing our characters and challenging ourselves in our writing skills.
