This is a sandbox style role play that is based in a Southern Californian named Ocean City.
This town is home to a prestigious high school and university that students from all over flock to. The school is home to the best teachers in the state and hosts an eclectic variety of students from all over the world. Students have the option to live on campus and in between classes on the weekend are able to roam the town. There is always some kind of event going on. In this role play you can role play high school students, teachers, college students, and the town residents! We encourage character development and being able to follow your character through different stages of life encourages that.
This town is on the water and offers many events for every season along with the schools offering their own events as well. There are many chances to foster positive relationships between characters but this is a slice of life so drama and enemies are bound to be made!
Also, don't think your secrets are safe because there are those who patrol the tides of gossip and report all the going ons in the town gossip blog. Here everyone’s dirty laundry is presented, it’s up to the characters to believe it and do whatever they want with it.
Our members are funny and brimming with sarcasm, we look forward to our new members so we can add to the student and staff populations while further growing our characters and challenging ourselves in our writing skills. Most of our conversations happen off site in our own chat room, which we have a link posted above in the toggled section, until then if you have any questions go ahead and post them in the CBOX, we will get back to you as soon as possible!
Have fun looking around, we hope to meet you soon!

Your mom came out with just a towel on

“So, should we get started on the project?” Stacy asked as she held the door open for Kyle. The house sounded empty, thinking her mother should have been home already. She wasn’t going to pass up on this chance though as she grabbed Kyle by the wrist and dragged him towards her room.
Kyle chuckled nervously as she dragged him up the stairs. “Are... Are you sure? Wouldn’t your mom get upset?” he wiggled his eyebrows and looked around as if her mom was going to just appear out of nowhere.
“Seems that my mom isn’t home yet.” Stacy bit her lower lip, thinking he was wiggling his eyebrows to suggest that he was thinking the same thing she was. They could make out until her mom got home, pretend they were working on the project. To say she had a little crush on Kyle was an understatement.
“Oh… Um. Okay.” Kyle shrugged his shoulders. Stacy was of course oblivious to the fact that he seemed disappointed by this fact. She thought he was just a little shy and nervous to be alone with her. They reached the top of the stairs, and she took a right, though stopped when she heard giggling from her mother’s room.
So, she was home, but it sounded like she brought another guy home. Ever since her parents split her mother was dating a lot of different guys, though never had them over more than once. Stacy rolled her eyes as she tried to pass her mothers room without trying to think about what they were doing, but Kyle pulled away from her grasp.
“Is that your mom?” Kyle’s mouth dropped open as he stared at the partially opened door to her mother’s room. He took a step towards the gap, though Stacy grabbed him by the wrist.
“Ew gross, why are you watching.” She exclaimed as she started dragging him to her room once more, determined to make out with him even if her mom was home. She was preoccupied anyways.
“All the guys at school say how hot she is. I just wanted to see for myself.” Kyle pulled from her grasp as he shrugged his shoulders. He walked back towards her mom’s bedroom door to try and steal another peek.
Stacy felt her heart crack slightly at his words, she suddenly realized he wasn’t here for her. He didn’t show interest in being her partner for a project to spend time with her. He didn’t want to even be her friend or much more. He wanted to see just how hot her mom really was. She couldn’t take it anymore.
“GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!” She screamed, causing Kyle to jump and then race for the stairs. He reached the bottom just as her mother and her latest boy toy came out to investigate.
Stacy just stared at her mom who turned to look at her, giving her a questioning glance to see what was wrong, but only saw that her daughter was crying and a boy running away.
“Stacy what happened?” She said, pushing her boytoy back into her room and closing the door. She stepped towards her daughter and tried to wrap her arms around her. “What did he do? Did he make you cry?” she asked, brushing a piece of Stacy’s hair out of her face.
Stacy looked up at her mother’s face and sighed. It wasn’t her mom’s fault that she was so gorgeous. She nodded her head before wrapping her arms around the only person who didn’t care that she wasn’t pretty enough. “I hate boys.” She said, though she knew she was lying to herself.
