This is a sandbox style role play that is based in a Southern Californian named Ocean City.
This town is home to a prestigious high school and university that students from all over flock to. The school is home to the best teachers in the state and hosts an eclectic variety of students from all over the world. Students have the option to live on campus and in between classes on the weekend are able to roam the town. There is always some kind of event going on. In this role play you can role play high school students, teachers, college students, and the town residents! We encourage character development and being able to follow your character through different stages of life encourages that.
This town is on the water and offers many events for every season along with the schools offering their own events as well. There are many chances to foster positive relationships between characters but this is a slice of life so drama and enemies are bound to be made!
Also, don't think your secrets are safe because there are those who patrol the tides of gossip and report all the going ons in the town gossip blog. Here everyone’s dirty laundry is presented, it’s up to the characters to believe it and do whatever they want with it.
Our members are funny and brimming with sarcasm, we look forward to our new members so we can add to the student and staff populations while further growing our characters and challenging ourselves in our writing skills. Most of our conversations happen off site in our own chat room, which we have a link posted above in the toggled section, until then if you have any questions go ahead and post them in the CBOX, we will get back to you as soon as possible!
Have fun looking around, we hope to meet you soon!

"Hey Shannon, I heard a neat little rumor about you?"
Shannon had heard the click clack of the cheap knock-off version of a Steve Madden miles before it reached her in the hallway. She smirked, knowing the heels and the voice could only belong to one person; Stephanie, the girl who was trying to steal her Ice Queen throne. She slowly turned to Stephanie, a raised eyebrow as she very obviously looked the girl up and down.
"Oh yeah? Did you overhear this rumor as you dug through the goodwill trash in search of your next outfit?"
A few of the kids had 'Ooohed and a few called out 'Burn!' as Shannon waited patiently for Stephanie to reply, though the girl was obviously offended by her comment. It wasn't like her clothes actually came from the garbage, but they most certainly didn't come from a Gucci store. Shannon had heard several different rumors about her, it was bound to happen with her being popular, a party girl, and the ice queen.
"Don't even start with me." Stephanie finally said as the crowd of students started to gather around.
Of course they wanted to see a fight, it had been a dull month since Shannon was trying to stay on her best behavior, which just meant not getting in trouble at school for fighting. Her mother had threatened to send her off to boarding school if she kept up the antics.
"Please girl, trust me when I say with the outfits even goodwill didn't want, no one wants to start anything with you." She laughed and shook her head, turning to her friend, going back to the conversation they were having before they were interrupted.
"Your father isn't on business leave for two years in Japan, I heard he dumped you and your mom because he doesn't love you." Stephanie said lout enough for the whole hallway to hear.
It went quiet as Stephanie crossed her arms over her chest and stood, waiting for Shannon to respond. She was sure Stephanie was waiting for her to crack. To cry about how right she was and how she had lied to everyone and how a fake shouldn't be the most popular girl; but Shannon knew better. She knew no one cared if you were real or not, they cared about who had power, status, took charge; and Stephanie had none of that.
"Aw, did you get your informant from the clearance aisle? Because it's lacking in the right price." Shannon rolled her eyes and acted like didn't bother her. She knew her father left because he didn't love her mom, and she knew he didn't call or come visit, and just sent birthday cards two weeks later with money was because he didn't care for her. She tried to let it bother her that he was off making a new family, one that didn't involve her.
Stephanie rolled her own eyes and shook her head. "I mean, if it's true, that would explain why you're such a bitch," She started out, which Shannon found lame to use the word bitch as an insult, please use something with a little more F rating. "And probably why you chase after old men, why you robbing the grave? Afraid you'll be too old for high schoolers?" She laughed and a few people laughed along with her.
Shannon turned to Stephanie and without a second thought, punched her in the face. She started to walk off, knowing a snitch probably told a teacher, but she realized she wouldn’t be coming back to this school now since her mom threatened to ship her off. She turned to Stephanie who was rolling around in the ground holding her nose. “Oh, can you take a message to your dad? Let him know, he isn’t the best I’ve had.” She threw her head back and laughed as she left the girl on the floor bleeding and wondering if she actually slept with her dad.
