Name: Elias Saint Nick Name: Saint, Saint Elias Gender: Male Birthday: March 30th Age: 19 Orientation: Straight Status: Single Play By: Janis Danner When all the pain is pushed away We hide behind our eyes  No wonder that we're barely getting by Caught in a wildfire Bold- Elias has high confidence level. He doesn't hate being in the spotlight of attention and easily slips into a flirtatious role when it comes to girls and playing in a band with his friends. He has a decent amount of charm and often has a smile on his face. He likes to interact with people and is a bit of a chatter box on a superficial level. Spontaneous- He likes to go out and have fun, going to new places and exploring. He doesn't think a lot of the future and focuses more on the present, he's usually up for anything, acting first and thinking last. Indecisive- Mentioning the future again and serious decisions Elias does his best by simply avoiding them when he can. The idea of planning the rest of his life makes him want to throw up and making decisions about that can take ages. Even decorating his apartment took months to figure out, weighing every pro and con until finally coming to a decision. He's ready to leap into any adventure or weekend away but anything more concrete takes time. Go with the Flow- Elias is a bit of a lost boy, wandering from class to class and day to day tasks without any real goal. The future is a topic that he avoids and he doesn't want to be stuck wondering if he's making the right choices or if he's making his parents proud. All that external pressure is something that tugs him down to earth and haunts him. We keep running away No one's saving the day  We keep waiting for rain We've got only ourselves to blame Does it all seem to follow Born with the most silver of spoons in his mouth Elias lead a lucky life. His parents Cyrus and Paulette had everything they ever needed, a big house, plenty of friends, and everything they could ever want. The only thing that was a challenge for them was having a child to complete their family. No matter how much they tried they couldn't conceive, even with every method they tried they didn't have any luck. Eventually they gave up on their dream of having a child, putting their focus into business and charity until one day Paulette got extremely sick, landing herself in the hospital where she was told that what she had thought was impossible was possible. She was pregnant, it was high risk but she and Cyrus were ecstatic. The next nine months were full of preparing for their new baby, Cyrus doting on his wife every moment he could until the day arrived and Elias was born. Cyrus and Paulette were dedicated to their son, almost to the point where they were almost smothering the little tot. He had everything he could ever want throughout his formative years and was thrown into various activities, camps, and clubs while his parents cheered him and went on like this, even after he was sent to Tidewater for his high school years. Even away from his parents he didn't feel like he was alone, they called him at least once a week and gave him whatever he wanted, which made his extra freedom all the better. Elias became a party boy, earning himself the ironic nickname of Saint, which was exactly what he wasn't. He broke hearts, partied, drank, everything a teen could ever want to do when away from their parents. He made some great friends and was having the time of his life up until after he graduated. His parents made it to his graduation and wanted him to come home with them, but he convinced them to let him stay an extra week before heading home. Even though his mom was a little worried she let him stay and left with his father to go home. Elias looked forward to seeing his parents again but he was more excited for the upcoming week of partying. He never got to any parties though. The flight that his parents had taken home ended up experiencing a technical malfunction that made the plane crash. No one survived, leaving Elias an orphan the sole inheritor of his parents estate. He had no idea what he was going to do, completely lost without his parents. Any extended family that reached out to him set him on edge, each one seemed to want a cut of his money and after his parents funerals he cut off all contact, remaining in Ocean City and enrolling in university without any real goal before him. Welcome to Tidewater!
This is a sandbox style role play that is based in a Southern Californian named Ocean City.
This town is home to a prestigious high school and university that students from all over flock to. The school is home to the best teachers in the state and hosts an eclectic variety of students from all over the world. Students have the option to live on campus and in between classes on the weekend are able to roam the town. There is always some kind of event going on. In this role play you can role play high school students, teachers, college students, and the town residents! We encourage character development and being able to follow your character through different stages of life encourages that.
This town is on the water and offers many events for every season along with the schools offering their own events as well. There are many chances to foster positive relationships between characters but this is a slice of life so drama and enemies are bound to be made!
Also, don't think your secrets are safe because there are those who patrol the tides of gossip and report all the going ons in the town gossip blog. Here everyone’s dirty laundry is presented, it’s up to the characters to believe it and do whatever they want with it.
Our members are funny and brimming with sarcasm, we look forward to our new members so we can add to the student and staff populations while further growing our characters and challenging ourselves in our writing skills.
