This is a sandbox style role play that is based in a Southern Californian named Ocean City.
This town is home to a prestigious high school and university that students from all over flock to. The school is home to the best teachers in the state and hosts an eclectic variety of students from all over the world. Students have the option to live on campus and in between classes on the weekend are able to roam the town. There is always some kind of event going on. In this role play you can role play high school students, teachers, college students, and the town residents! We encourage character development and being able to follow your character through different stages of life encourages that.
This town is on the water and offers many events for every season along with the schools offering their own events as well. There are many chances to foster positive relationships between characters but this is a slice of life so drama and enemies are bound to be made!
Also, don't think your secrets are safe because there are those who patrol the tides of gossip and report all the going ons in the town gossip blog. Here everyone’s dirty laundry is presented, it’s up to the characters to believe it and do whatever they want with it.
Our members are funny and brimming with sarcasm, we look forward to our new members so we can add to the student and staff populations while further growing our characters and challenging ourselves in our writing skills. Most of our conversations happen off site in our own chat room, which we have a link posted above in the toggled section, until then if you have any questions go ahead and post them in the CBOX, we will get back to you as soon as possible!
Have fun looking around, we hope to meet you soon!

Everything we made
eroded away.
I promised a game,
it's a shame you've been
tamed.
The crowd was roaring as the race had come to an end, Maxon being at the front of it. Despite crossing the finish line already, his blood was pumping and he was full of energy. He pulled up to the winners circle and was immediately met by reporters. He knew they weren’t big named reporters with any major news company, but it would be good practice for the future when he actually won major races.
“We have the winner of this years Junior BMX ride, Maxon Tate. Tell me Maxon, how does it feel to win?” She asked, holding out a recorder to him.
Maxon gave her the sly smile that made a lot girls and women melt and by the sight of how the reporter smiled back at him, he knew she’d fallen under its spell.
“I feel amazing and proud. I wouldn’t be here without my team though.” He knew he always had to mention his team even if they didn’t do anything besides make sure his bike worked. The way he saw it, he did all the hard work in front of the camera while they did it behind the camera. He was still more important.
“Are you planning to make this a career in the future?” She was young for a reporter, probably her first or second gig and he could tell by the way she kept shifting her weight she was trying to figure out the best position to make herself look good for him.
“Yes, I’d love to do this for a living. It’s my passion and I can’t see myself doing anything else.” He wondered if she’d give him his number if he asked. He ran a hand through his hair, making his smile larger for her.
She smiled in return and he knew he had her hooked. “Congratulations on your win again and we can’t wait to see you in the big leagues.” She turned off her recorder and Maxon turned to the other reporters before turning back to her.
“Would it be rude to ask for your number?” He asked, smirking as he looked towards the podium where the second and third place winners were waiting for him.
“I don’t think that’s a good idea. You’re in high school.” He knew she was just saying that, but the way she tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear and the look she had in her eyes meant she was debating it.
He shrugged his shoulders, "Let me know if you change your mind.” He winked and headed for the podium. He figured if she was interested, she’d be waiting for everyone to leave.
There was a mild celebration at Maxon’s tent after the podium ceremony and sure enough, the little reporter stopped by.
“Care for a drink?” Maxon asked her, holding up the bottled water company that sponsored him.
She took the bottle but didn’t open it. “My name is Allison by the way. Allie for short.” She held out her hand to him and when he grabbed it, he felt a piece of paper.
“Nice to meet you. Look forward to working with you again.” He knew the paper was her phone number. He stuck his hand in his pocket and watched her walk away, feeling pretty good about himself.
